Universal Model Group (UMG), and all UMG Affiliates, has adopted, and pledge to follow a Specific Code of Ethics (listed below) in all of our business dealings . In formulating this Code of Ethics, UMG has taken special care to incorporate various specific entities Code(s) of Ethics (such as SAG/AFTRA).

 

With this said, UMG and it's affiliates Pledges to:

 

• promote integrity in the execution of our fiduciary duties, and to assist UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and Actors in the development of their long-term career goals.

• In our position as a personal manager (“PM”), we pledge NOT to derive personal gain at the expense of any UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors interests including, but not limited to, requiring the UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors to utilize the services of any particular photographer, printer, school, acting coach, or any other professional in the Modeling, Acting, Fashion, or entertainment industry in which we have a direct or indirect financial (or other) interest. We will also ensure that it is not a condition of our representation of any UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors to utilize such services. We will fully disclose any applicable conflicts of interest to any UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors that we are representing.

• serve UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors in good faith, recognizing the uniqueness of their abilities.

• be truthful in all statements made to UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors and to act, at all times, in an honest, ethical, and appropriate manner, and as a fiduciary to our Models, Artists, and/or Actors as well as our clients.

• respect and support UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors in their relationships with their agents, and to make every effort to assist the UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors designated agents in securing employment opportunities for UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors when directed by the franchised agent to do so.

• encourage all UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors to uphold their obligations to their Union and to assist the Union in the enforcement of its contracts.

• never encourage a UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors to resign from their Union.

• guard against any potential conflicts of interest in the representation of UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors, and immediately notify our Models, Artists, and/or Actors as well as our clients should any such conflict arise.

• protect UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors from the inappropriate commingling of monies belonging to them with monies belonging to UMG. We shall keep UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors funds in a non-interest bearing segregated account that is commonly referred to as a client, escrow or trust account. If we do not actually handle UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors’ monies, we may request an exemption from this provision.

• faithfully account for a UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors’s monies in our possession and to deliver said monies to the UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors (or his/her designee) in a timely fashion. UMG and Evive Productions shall also encourage its clients to make similar timely payments to us, where appropriate.

• maintain Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors confidentiality and privacy in all dealings, both during the course of, or after, our representation of the UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors.

• never use unjust or oppressive representational contracts that permit, for example, the collection of up front/advance fees or charges of any kind. Further, initial contracts between UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors and our personal management company shall be no greater than three (3) years. A copy of any written representational contract that we intend to use shall be provided to the UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors prior to the commencement of our business relationship.

• create and maintain a working relationship for the UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors that is free of discrimination which can include, but is not limited to, inappropriate treatment based on age, disability, gender, national origin, race, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, union and/or political affiliation.

• assist UMG and Evive Productions Models, Artists, and/or Actors in their search for a reputable talent agent.

• abide by any applicable State and/or Federal Laws in the jurisdiction in which we are operating our business.
